Sarmi with Beetroot Leaves
Products:
beetroot leaves – 12 pcs.
onion – 1 head,
carrot – 1 pc.
rice – 1 tea cup
mushrooms – 5-6
oil – 6 tbsp.
1 bunch of parsley, black and red pepper, salt.
Method of preparation:
Washed leaves are scalded for 5 minutes with boiling water, then poured with cold water. In a deep pan, sauté the chopped vegetables in the oil, add the rice and fry until the grains become transparent. Pour a glass of warm water and after the water boils, remove the stuffing from the stove. Add the chopped parsley, black and red pepper, salt and mix well.
Take a leaf, place a spoonful of the filling and wrap the sarmi. Arrange them in a pot, cover with a plate, add hot water to cover the sarmi and cook on low heat for 15 minutes. Serve with yogurt.
