SHUPLA

Shupla is a widespread everyday food in Razlog and the Razlog region.

Необходими продукти:

water – 100 ml.

oil – 5 tbsp.
2 eggs
salt
flour – 15 tbsp. with a peak
cheese – 150-200 gr.
butter – 60 gr.

Method of preparation:

Put the water, flour, eggs, salt and butter in a bowl. The mixture should be thick as for a cake, if necessary, add more flour.

The mixture prepared in this way is poured into a greased and floured large tray. It should be 1 cm thick. During baking, it swells slightly. Sprinkle the crumbled cheese on top. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees until golden. Take it out and brush it with butter or spray it all over with oil and return it to the oven for 1-2 minutes. If the desire is for a crispy crust, let it cool, otherwise cover with paper and top with a towel to steam for 5-10 minutes, then remove from the pan
